In response to a photo by Alec Soth, this song was commissioned by Cassilhaus, a creative incubator space in Chapel Hill, NC, as part of their exhibit "Ekphrasis", where eight artists responded to images from the history of photography.

Special thanks to Jessina Leonard, who curated the exhibit, and Ellen Cassily & Frank Konhaus, the masterminds of Cassilhaus.
